There is Brave…And “Vegas Brave”

There is undeniably something about Vegas that makes you braver than your everyday life.  Is it the air?  Is it the people?  Maybe it’s because you are on vacation.  Or perhaps, it’s knowing, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”   For whatever reason, you come out of your shell.  You don’t let anything hold you back.

Your sense of “Normal” becomes skewed in Vegas - it becomes “Vegas Normal.”  Compare your “everyday normal” with your “Vegas Normal” and you will find some key differences.  Guaranteed.

For Example:

Normal: Wear your usual “go-to” outfit - pair of jeans, light t-shirt & cardigan.
Vegas Normal: Wear skin tight “Vegas” dresses - usually something you buy specifically for your trip to the city.

Normal: Put on sensible heels, but always carry back up flats in case your feet start to hurt.
Vegas Normal: Put on your tallest heels - even though you know you can’t realistically walk in them.

Normal: Carry your whole life in an over-sized bag - wallet, keys, phone, blackberry, calendar, receipts, makeup bag, iPod.  Etc. Etc. Etc.
Vegas Normal: Carry the smallest clutch possible - cash, credit cards, license, room key & lipstick.  That’s it.

Normal: Splash on some light powder & mascara; add cherry Chapstick for some color.
Vegas Normal: Plaster your face with makeup, complete with black eyeliner & smokey eyeshadow; red lipstick is a must to complete the look.

Normal: Worry over a text message sent to your crush.
Vegas Normal: Flirt with strangers confidently and without care.

So cheers… Cheers to being braver; cheers to having fun; and cheers into morphing into the Vegas version of yourself.
