Personal Procrastination
I need to clean my room. I need to do laundry. I need to clean my car. I need to change the tires on my car. I need to make important phone calls. I need to sell some furniture. I need to do research. I need to clean my bathroom. I need to collect boxes.
I need to do a fair amount of personal tasks. Have I started? Yes and no. If I have started anything on my to-do list, I have only skimmed the surface of what I actually need to do. I might have well not started at all.
Why is it that I can do everything on my status list at work by a set deadline, but when it comes doing a load of laundry or organizing my night stand, I just don’t do it?
It’s called personal procrastination, my friends, and it affects millions everyday. The cure? Still trying to figure that one out myself….
I guess it does have its advantages, though. Without it, I would not be writing this.
