A Social Experiment

I am tired of losers, misfits….and waiters… reaching out to me on Match, therefore, I figure I gotta be more truthful.  So, I am conducting a social experiment of some sorts.  I updated my profile; let’s see how people respond to the below:

I am going to do something different on here. I am going to tell the truth about myself and about what I am really looking for. Revolutionary, I know, but what I have got to lose by putting it all out there?

About me:

  • I am an a-hole. If you can’t handle that fact, you can’t handle me.
  • I am really independent, both financially and mentally. This can be a problem for some dudes.
  • I am not what you would describe as “sweet.” I am really straightforward and will call people out on their BS.
  • I might be 24, but I am wise beyond my years and hate when people call me, “young.”
  • I only wear glasses. I don’t own contacts.

About my “date”:

  • You should be tall. I am tall and don’t like be taller than a guy when I wear heels. If you are shorter than 5’10, maybe we can be friends?
  • You should be successful and have drive in life. Not because I am a gold-digger, but because I am successful, have a great job and direction in life. Just need someone on the same path as me.
  • You must be sarcastic. I can’t stand boring dudes nor can I stand to be coined as the “funny one.” It should be equal opportunity.
  • You must be outgoing and actually initiate the conversation/make the first move. Bonus points if you call vs. text. Honestly, I think texting is a cop-out.

I realize this may sound harsh to some, but…. don’t send me a message if you can’t appreciate the honesty. That just means we aren’t compatible :)
